The start and finish is in Arlebury Park. SO24 9EP.

Parking is in Perins School and at The Watercress Line station car park. There is limited on-street parking – please respect local residents’ access.

The route starts with a lap of the top field at Arlebury Park before heading out onto Mill Hill, up West Street and down Broad Street past the Globe pub and over the weir. Then turn left onto Abbotstone Lane, past the watercress beds and up the hill into the countryside.

The out and back section starts at the junction with Drove Lane. You need to be on the right hand side of the road all the way to the turn round point at Abbotstone cottages. Go anti-clockwise around the grass triangle and head back the way you came, staying on the right hand side of the road. Beware of runners coming the other way!

When you get back to the junction with Drove Lane, turn right along Drove Lane and follow it back to the Avenue. When you reach the Avenue, pay attention to the marshal’s directions and head along the footpath (not on the road – it’s not closed to traffic!!) and back to Arlebury Park.

Finish the race by running around the top field again and cross the line.
